Our Leadership

We need something to lead into the leadership profiles here.

Chryl Hoz

President and Director, 2017 - present

Chryl’s journey began with TNT in 2001. “In reflecting on stories shared during my journey with Team in Training, and now Andy’s Challenge, the true miracles stem from the heroic efforts, faith, and pure guts of those who deal with the devastating and potentially deadly effects of blood cancer.  Raising money for cancer research and supporting these families - this is my passion.”

John Olson

Vice President

After years of participating, mentoring, recruiting and coaching for TNT. In 2012, John had the difficult task of sharing with his team that he would have to temporarily withdraw from coaching to deal with a recent diagnosis of sarcoma.  “Through our work with Andy’s Challenge, money raised will fund research that will benefit future cancer heroes and I am committed to this cause. Andy’s Challenge is delighted to share that John remains cancer-free and is now considered a SURVIVOR.

Jeff Gunn

Treasurer

After going through his wife’s battle with lymphoma and experiencing first-hand the impact of blood cancer research on her drugs used for therapy, Jeff joined TNT. “Andy’s Challenge allows me to continue to support the cause in a way that works with the demands of parenting, and to continue to work with the great people I’ve met through my years of involvement with TNT.”  Jeff’s wife remains in remission today, but until there is cure for blood borne cancers he remains passionately committed to the cause.

Luetta Allen, PhD

Secretary

“When Andy relapsed with leukemia in 2014, this group’s efforts were mission critical for us.  Team AndyStrong and Andy’s Challenge made something really really big and really really important happen for us.  The path we were sent on as a family was super scary and we went mostly alone because others COULD NOT go where we had to go...and others never should.  But you cared and you cheered.  And we heard.  You have a big piece of my heart.  The Allen family is fully committed to Andy’s Challenge.”
